These in person look similar to rain boots. Not sure I would buy them if I had tried them on in the store. These will fit a person’s foot well if you have narrow to medium feet. I have wide feet but that part is not the problem, they are tight in the toes but it’s not unmanageable or untolerable until hours later. These shoes are very light weight and the foot bed is soft and they did not hurt my feet until 4 hours into shopping. I felt like my weight on my feet were evenly distributed not like other wedges were all the weight of your body is placed on your toes. I like the sole of the foot, you will not slip at all. These wedges do not exactly fit my wide feet perfectly but I would still recommend them to others who have a narrow to medium foot.Love these shoes. Gotta say I don't normally write reviews but I was so pleased with these from day one that I had to say something. They are very comfortable, no need to break them in. They flex on the ball of the foot so there is a comfortable stride. I don't know if it's the shape or the rise but feel fine wearing them all day and I stand up on the train for an hour commute to work. The wedge heel makes them feel very solid. Only thing I did add was a simple shoe pad (just the drug store brand, nothing fancy) but that's just cause I like a real cushy footbed.Haven't worn these yet except for around the house-passed all of my tests, looking forward to wearing them this winter, needed a good boot for the office. Comfortable soles!These boots are fabulous! Maybe a half size too big, but with thick shocks in the winter I think they'll be perfect.
