Wow! Simply breathtaking! I do love Agan Traders clothing, I have a closet full of them. I was excited last month to recheck their listings for anything new and discover this dress. I left it in my "shopping cart" for a long time because I simply wasn't certain about it, I just couldn't picture what it would look like on me. I liked the design, the low waist line like a 20's flapper dress, the uneven hem... it looked great in the picture but I just wasn't sure. I finally decided to give it a try since I knew I could return it if I didn't like it. Agan Traders is great to work with, never any hassles and they're always helpful. I got it within the usual 2 days and tried it on and my eyes popped out of my head. It was simply perfect. I also like unique clothing and that's why I shop Agan Traders. This fits that bill as well. It does remind me of a flapper dress. I had to have the dress altered though. Agan Traders clothing runs a little large (they always give you the measurements in their listings though) and I'm a small person: 4'11, 34-26-34. Their smalls are always a little loose on me but the style of the clothing makes it unnoticeable really. However, with this being sleeveless, it did make it necessary for me to get it altered since the arm holes drooped to much. I had the straps shortened a little and the underarm taken it and all's well. It was worth the extra hassle. This dress looks great casual with a pair of flip flops, or dressy with panyhose and heels. The measurements given for the length are from the highest point of the shoulder to the longest part of the hem, so here's a little more needed information. The length of the dress from the highest point of the shoulder to the shortest part of the hem is 36" (for a size Small). On me, the short part of the hem falls to a couple inches above my knee (again, I'm short!) As usual, the quality is very high for the price. The material is nice (though I always wear a slip) and the embroidery and seams are done with care. No loose threads, no worries about embroidery coming undone. I've worn Agan Traders embroidered clothing for years and some of the skirts and dresses have taken quite a beating but I've only had one dress start to come unraveled at the embroidered hem and I think maybe I caught it on something. That's not usually an issue with their clothing however. I highly recommend this dress. In fact, I ordered it in purple (it's a deep dark purple, gorgeous) and loved it so much that I ordered it in plum as well. I think it's very flattering and it's sure to catch people's attention. These dresses always start up conversations.
